TD Credit Cards

Enjoy a special welcome offer on the TD Cash Back Card or the TD Rewards Visa Card with no annual fee for newcomers to Canada.

Unsecured credit cards

It’s important for newcomers to Canada to establish a credit history as soon as possible to help with employment, mortgages, loans and insurance.

An unsecured  TD Credit Card can help you build your Canadian credit. If you are a Canadian Permanent Resident, you may be eligible for a credit limit of up to $15,000, even if you have no credit history.

If you are an international student or temporary worker, you are also eligible to apply for an unsecured credit card.

Applicant must meet all TD credit granting criteria, and other conditions, to be eligible for a TD Credit Card. For complete details, please visit your local TD branch.

See Unsecured Credit Cards.

Secured credit cards

As you make the transition to your new home and begin to build a Canadian credit history, you may decide that you need a credit limit over the amount you have been approved for.

If this is the case, a secured  TD Credit Card may be able to provide the higher credit limit you’re looking for while helping you build a credit history and positive credit rating.
