Constating Documents

The Toronto-Dominion Bank was created in 1955 through the amalgamation of The Bank of Toronto and The Dominion Bank, which were each established under private acts in 1855 and 1869, respectively. The Toronto-Dominion Bank is a bank governed by the Bank Act (S.C. 1991, c.46). The Act is the bank's charter.
