A robo-advisor is an online digital investment advisory platform that utilizes a digital tool to recommend a portfolio, automatically invest funds and strategically reallocate them in alignment with your investment goal and risk profile.
The minimum account balance needed to start investing is $1,000.
TD Automated Investing offers tiered pricing based on your account balance. You'll pay a wrap fee of 0.30% annually on your portfolio and cash balances with a $15 minimum wrap fee for balances under $5,0011.
You will have access to TD Strategic Portfolios, consisting of exchange traded funds (ETFs), mutual funds and/or cash that are consistent with your investment goal and risk profile.
- Individual or Joint Tenants with Rights of Survivorship taxable accounts.
- Tax deferred Traditional IRA or Roth IRA accounts. We are not able to open an IRA with a rollover from an ERISA Plan account.
Please note contribution limitations apply to Traditional or Roth IRA accounts.
Start by selecting your investment goal and risk profile through our online assessment tool. Based on your feedback, the digital tool will recommend a TD Strategic Portfolio consisting of mutual funds, ETFs, and/or cash. To invest, you will need to complete an account application and provide your consent and agreement to important terms and conditions. After your TD Automated Investing application is submitted, we will review it and notify you when your account is opened. You'll then be able to fund your account by linking to existing bank accounts.
