Our History

Explore What's Possible Together

TD Global Investment Solutions (TDGIS) is the tradename representing the institutional asset management businesses of TD Bank Group, whose own history dates back more than 150 years. Our story brings together three decades of investment experience. Over that time the investment landscape, investor needs and our range of offerings have evolved and expanded.  In 2013, TD Bank Group, which already included an asset manager, TD Asset Management Inc., acquired Epoch Investment Partners, Inc. (TD Epoch) to introduce a broader range of global and U.S. active fundamental equity solutions. Five years later, Greystone Capital Management Inc. was acquired and integrated into TDAM, to offer greater access to alternatives, including real estate, infrastructure, and commercial mortgages. What has remained consistent is our focus on working closely with our clients to help them achieve their goals:

Below is an overview of our history. Please note that not all strategies are available in all jurisdictions and this timeline does not constitute marketing or financial promotion.
