Philosophy and Approach

  • We believe the most predictable way to outperform a defined fixed income benchmark is to combine extensive independent credit research and stringent security selection with in-depth yield curve analysis, within a highly- disciplined portfolio construction methodology.

    Investment Process:

    We focus on an issuer’s ability to make timely interest and principal repayments, in addition to management’s ability to operate effectively in the current political, regulatory, and economic environments.

  • Macroeconomic Analysis:

    Our research process starts with an evaluation of the macroeconomic landscape. We undertake a country-by-country review focusing on central bank policy, and key economic indicators.

  • Portfolio Construction:

    With an understanding of both market and issuer specific risks, portfolios are constructed to help ensure capital preservation, risk control and long-term added value. Portfolios are structured with a continuous maturity profile which produces a high degree of liquidity with minimal transaction costs
